Therese Marie Galvez-Carrera - Site Memorial Online

I have been trying for days to think of one...just ONE...time that Therese ever did anything wrong or radical or against the rules or illegal.  I have known her my whole life and cannot come up with one, even as kids.  She always worked hard, chosing to shine in God's eyes and give selflessly to those around her.  Ahhhh, but one time Therese, Michael and I decided to take the school bus home.   We were walkers, not riders, because the bus took the people across the busy street.  Actually, I  was the one who decided and insisted that we get on the bus.  Against her better judgement she came along (to protect us) because I was already dragging Michael saying it would be okay.  We had to walk across Paseo Padre Parkway (a 4-lane street with no stoplight) from where the bus dropped us off.  I'm pretty sure she got in trouble for my antics because I don't remember feeling bad.  She protected us.
